Field Trip: NCTS Students Practice Etiquette


 JELCC Director, Mrs. Wright-Browner taught NCTS students the skills and value of etiquette.  
Upon completion of the etiquette course, Mrs. Wright-Browner and JELCC Assistant Director, Mr. Funk treated students to breakfast at Le Peep Restaurant, where students practiced etiquette skills and enjoyed socializing with each other. 


Phebra shares, "I learned that everyone can be proper and really disciplined when they want to be. I will remember this day, when all the students were nice and when all the adults had smiles on their faces as they complimented us."

Yemi explains, "I learned that trying something new isn't that bad, after all.  I enjoyed the food and company, and I will remember this day."

Jodecie recalls, "I will remember the good time I had hanging out with friends and teachers.  I enjoyed the day, and I am happy that the teachers and directors invited us to breakfast."

Anjayla shares, "I will remember getting to know some people who I had never talked to before this field trip."  Similarly, Kourtney explains, " I really enjoyed the whole event.  I got to start some friendships that I never even knew existed."

Kordell reflects, "Proper etiquette is something we will all need to know later in life.I appreciate that our teachers and administrators took us to breakfast and made learning etiquette fun."
